After the success of my AlphaRecommend component for Joomla 1.5 natively (see on www.alphaplug.com ), and following the request of several users, I have decided to fully develop this component for Joomla 1.0.x.
Visual Invite (it's new name for Joomla 1.0) is a component to allows visitors to recommend or invite their friends to visit your website by e-mail. It incorporates ReCaptcha security to help prevent spam. There is also an option to import e-mails with Plaxo Address Book widget: It allows your users to grab their contacts' emails from Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook, Plaxo etc...

After several months of hesitation, I decided to upgraded my forum, which began to age too quickly. This new forum (Fireboard) is much more pleasant and intuitive to use. I hope it will help the members of this site to use more even if personally I am not quite present to answer any questions. It's very hard to find time to develop components, maintain and answer all these questions on the forum. I apologise to my members who support me from all these years.
