I've seen one other post on this with no clear solution. Has anyone been able to contact the developer about purchasing a license or a donation for either removing the copyright info or instructions for commenting it out?

It seems like people who posted in that thread either had no luck contacting the developer or gave up on the task.

If I overlooked another thread with the answer, I apologize and would appreciate a link to the solution.

How much for the donation price?

I'm not sure what the price is. I sent an email to the address listed above but never heard back - so I don't know how much to pay or who to pay it to.

I ended up uninstalling it from my site because I wanted to hold off on adding the feature.

You must send before an email to contact@visualclinic.fr with the url of website. Not amount: you can donate what you want.

Speaking of mXcomment... I feel a need to comment about the licensing issue.

You've done a spectacular job with mXcomment and I commend you on that. What's more, I totally agree that you should recieve credit and/or financial compensation for all your hard work. But "Some Restrictions Apply" and "Email some random amount of money to you@youremail.com" makes me reluctant to use mXcomments for my client projects. Lay out exactly what restrictions apply and what it costs to remove those restrictions. I and a great many users of mXcomments would greatly appreciate it.

When it comes to legal and financial matters, nobody likes a mystery. Step up to the plate and lay out the terms and conditions so I can tell my clients what it costs to remove the copyright.

BTW, a developers license wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Has this been solved? what is the copyright policy? I have over 40 sites that i would like to replace the commenting system on with this one. But the copyright would have to be removed.
