"No categorised" Removal? 3 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
First off let me say hello and that I'm very happy with my new installation of AlphaContent.

Does anyone know of a way to remove the "No categorised" result return? I have some custom error message pages (404) that are returning results that shouldn't be listed.

Thanks and happy to be a part of this community.

Hi,
In the settings of AlphaContent component, choose in tab content, Content Items only instead both.

Fantastic! That fixed it, merci beaucoup!

P.S. I wrote a highly appraising review of AlphaContent at Joomla.org.

Alpha Content looks very good and is working well except for one problem.

I tried to remove the "No categorised" item by changing the content tab content item to "content items only" and saved the changes.

We are running Joomla 1.5
cm.cmbc.org/index.php?option=com_alphacontent&Itemid=38

Thanks,
Nathan

In here that works fine (J! 1.5.3 and AlphaContent 3.0.2 on legacy mode... yes that it's old version of the AlphaContent but works fine on my testsite)

Hi,
people I have the same problem and I tried to fix it with marking "content items only" but "no categorised" stays there. It shows up when I click only on static content links

You are absolutely correct - this DOES NOT work. I have "Content Only" selected, and I still get this.

Out of sheer frustration, I just commented out the code (from around line 139 to line 157, give or take, in alphacontent.class.php). I strongly suspect a logic error in the controlling conditional, as I'm not getting any PHP error messages or notices.

I don't have time to troubleshoot, as the creator knows his codebase far better than I do, so I took the easy route.
