Hi,
Is there a way to upgrade to a new version while keeping the current settings or is the only way to remove it and install the new version? Can I manually upgrade?

yes you can do it manualy. You need ftp program where you upload new version to your alphacontent directory. I hope you now how to work with ftp

Hi,
Yes, I can work with an FTP client. Do I just overwrite the exiting files with the new ones in the Admin component and component folders? Is there anything that needs to be done in the MySQL tables?
