AlphaUserPoints v1.0.0 stable
I am pleased to announce the release of AlphaUserPoints version 1.0.0 stable. This version fixes several bugs and adds some features and 3 new rules for awarding points. Thanks a lot in your help testing all those pre-builds! Please make sure you share all the versions of products/packages you are using when reporting a problem. Most issues are related to specific versions and are virtually impossible to find without that. You can see the changelog n the package and download this component for Joomla 1.5 native on www.alphaplug.com .
Note for upgrade:
If you uninstall and then install the new version, you lose the data inserted when using the previous version. This is due to the installation beta and RC packages. It was revised and corrected for future stable versions. To upgrade AlphaUserPoints manually (from a beta version or RC1 and RC2) and preserve your datas, you can also overwrite all files component of your site by the new included in the package. Crush the files in the admin and the frontend. Replace the alphauserpoints.xml file, the file install.php and uninstall.php component in the admin by those who are at the root of the new zip file. Secondly, we must also remember to overwrite files plugins. The new files are in the install directory of the admin part of the package. For a manual upgrade, this is not automatic. It should be alphauserpoints.xml and paste alphauserpoints.php in the directory plugins / joomla system. Then sysplgaup_newregistered.php and sysplgaup_newregistered.xml file in the directory plugins / users and sysplgaup_reader2author.php and sysplgaup_reader2author.xml files in the directory plugins / content. Finish by replacing the language files. With this method, it can then go to the panel of AlphaUserPoints a message will notify you if the upgrade went well.
For the following versions 1.0.0 ->, the update / upgrade will not be destructive and all data will be preserved.
